July:  A great way to spend the 4th of July.  There is a great local Art Fair, rides, parades,
and much more.  Don't forget Mae's Cafe  for lunch.
The Maine Eastern Railroad will take you from Wiscasset to Brunswick or up to
Rockland.  Its a great trip!
August:  Don't miss this annual Maine tradition! Take the train from the Cottage!
Third Friday of Every Month in the Summer & Fall!  A great chance to see the works from
local artists
Take in the foliage as you drive along the coast from lighthouse to lighthouse.
With the crowds gone, its time to step out in Reid State Park and Popham Beach with
your family pet and enjoy the foliage from the coastline!

     If you need another cottage, I recommend Caratunk  #411(Pictures at Left) Its a lovely
one bedroom / one bathroom waterview cottage.  It is next to the Inn with water views over
the cottage in front.  It has wonderful tall wood ceilings with a great 4 season porch the
length of the cottages.  The efficiency kitchen is well-equipped and the living room is
welcoming.  Its spacious and nicely decorated.
